Albert is bright pink, and has things that look like pencil shavings down his front. Albert has also never been out of my house...
First attempt at a fishtail plait too.
The Luella sticker was part of my eighteenth birthday present, part of my shrine already.
And take a look at this piece of excitement!!!

This is what I do instead of going out (which translates as "I paint". A few people asked if I painted this, the answer is "yes")
I can't be bothered to finish it, but I felt the blog needed a bit of a change.
And if you live in Essex, I recommend the chocolate brownie from Abigail's. I can't quite explain in words (or the amount of texts I sent about it) how good it is.

My persistent love for Luella is continuing despite the company going under. Between theoutnet.com and ebay I have obtained two blouses and a keyring.
Should I just make a shrine to her?

Scumbag Blues

I haven't done a "proper" outfit post for quite a while now - as in of clothing I'd genuinely wear out of the house. Going out wearing a tutu accompanied with a cuddly jumper and DMs is a cool idea, but I don't think I have the balls ;)
Either way, the dance theme continues in the guise of this American Apparel skirt. I used to have one in white purely for dancing examinations, but I can't find it anywhere. I feel a hunt coming on...

luella love

I only really own four pieces of "proper" designer clothing, and none of them are really clothing, as such.
A brooch (as seen here), a purse, and two key rings.
All of them are special to me in a weird way, not because they remind me of anything in particular, but because I feel like I'm genuinely helping a small brand that not everyone knows. A love that my best friend and I share.
To find out that Luella had ceased trading last November was a shock, but to actually go onto her website today and see a completely blank page? Well, that's just weird.
For now, I guess that Lover and Patouf will have to do, but neither Sweden nor Australia is quite as exotic as Cornwall ;)

confusion in her eyes that says it all

Necklace, Topshop.

My latest purchase shows that the recent (well, it's been this way for a while, let's face it) nautical obsession is continuing. Got a dress from River Island a couple of weeks ago but I'm waiting for warmth and bare legs before that gets an outing. Rather than the make-up applied 14 hours ago/school uniform/no nail varnish combination that's going on above.

Whilst taking this photo I found the last one I'd taken on Photo Booth to be rather... blue:

Brooch; Luella. Cardigan; vintage.

A friend complained that my black and white msn display picture was annoying, and that it needed colour. Unfortunately brown hair and pale skin made the next attempt pretty much black and white, so I whipped off my brooch (my first Luella!!!) and put it prominently in view.. in my mouth. It reminds me of something, but I don't know what?

Apologies if this post seems a bit disjointed, my work ethic is currently zero and I have history coursework and a German oral to prepare for as well as the heaps of homework that is slowly mounting up, as well as a little writing project I've got going underway.... workworkwork, and not the time to do it in!
