my weekends are so much busier than my weekdays, visiting friends and playing the hostess.

today i had a seminar about the origin of language in which the tutor posed the question of whether life would be boring if we lacked the ability to lie. i was the only one who thought it would be beneficial. (i've somehow developed the worrying ability to lie profusely when drunk, and it keeps causing problems.) then i was blown down brownlow hill to the bluecoat art gallery, and then i had a grande skinny mocha with elle collections, sitting looking over seel street.
museums and starbucks are my personal form of escapism. they really, really work.

  3. You look like you have so much fun; I'm quite jealous. I don't think life would be boring, it would probably be more interesting if we had to hear the truth all the time! Ahh museums and the bluecoat gallery - you're so cultured! I just shop in L1! x

  6. life would be boring if we lack the ability to lie, but if we do lack it... i don't think we would have as many friends and acquantances? lol, a white lie here and there doesn't hurt, I don't want to be in the situation when I tell my friend that the dress really doesn't look good on them even if they lovee it! haha

and thanks for your comment, I symphaize with bloggers too, sometimes we get enough abuse on our blogs :)

Love those photos! Yay for film! I currently have a film camera that I've been using to take some photos. I'm taking my time so it'll be a couple months before I actually get to see the photos.

  27. Hmm that's an interesting question! I'd be inclined to agree with you, there is definitely need for white lies in society; some things of better off not known. Aaah the joys of drawing all over each other when drunk. haha jazzy ♥

  32. I've got to agree, although i don't condone being a bitch per se. It's just that life really would be boring without lies and without some bad/challenging things in general cos then there wouldn't be any pleasure in moments being good or amazing.

btw, it looks like you had an awesome time. i love your blog:)
