until the end

Photos; private (3 = TC again)

Yesterday was the last time I ever had to wear uniform to school (well, excluding exams...), so all the girls decided to go upon a theme - St Trinian's.
Originally a series of sketches, and then a series of films between 1957-1980, as well as two recent adaptations, St Trinian's' girls are seen as role models of independence and femininity - just what you need when you go to a boy's school!
And to keep up the continuing theme of nature I took these shots in my back garden where there are still some bluebells remaining - they look so pretty :)

Straw Boater; vintage. Blazer and tie; school. Skirt; French Connection. Shoes; Topshop

  6. wonderful film, wonderful interpretation. i've always wanted to go to a school with required uniforms (except not nasty ones - blue polo shirts + khakis seem to be the norm here). i'm jealous!

  12. No more uniforms? How exciting! Although I have to admit, sometimes I get all nostalgic and miss the idea and ease of just chucking on a uniform and heading out the door - no major 'what will I wear today' dilemmas. But that only happens once in a blue moon haha

  78. that first picture (actually all of them) look quite professional, like some shoot for a magazine spread! Seriously just beautiful, makes me wish I had listen to my mother and went to the private school she wanted me to attend back then (but living in NYC that would've been a crime or so I thought when I was a teenager smh)
