Last Saturday I hopped on a train heading South, and, when it terminated in Birmingham, I packed my copy of "The Wrongs of Woman" firmly in my bag till the homeward journey. Once out of the station, I met Eloise, Claire, Emma, Kim, Becca, Maria, and Victoria, to have a quick coffee catch-up, Nando's (fyi, I had a medium halloumi and mushroom wrap, chips, and macho peas), and a mooch around the shops. We then, of course, had a look round the christmas markets, which involved scary amounts of nutcrackers and winter Pimm's! Armed with their DSLRs, and my ever faithful point and shoot, we had a quick opportunity for outfit photos, and Eloise took some of me, despite my protestations that no one would want to see an outfit they'd seen countless times before. But, you know, you don't have a willing photographer every day! I can't wait for the christmas markets to open in Liverpool, anyone for glühwein?

Also, I set up a blog shop (which I'll be adding to as and when I have the time), so if you could have a look I'd really appreciate it!

  3. Oh I do love Christmas markets, the one in Leeds has only been open for a week and I've already been three times! I'm excited to venture to the Liverpool ones when I'm back at home nearer Christmas. And maybe sneak a trip to the Manchester ones at some point too.
    I think I have a slight obsession...

  4. I've just recently starting working in Birmingham and had a nose through the German Market after my shift - it was packed! There was a little hut selling stamps (well, I think it were stamps!) and I was rather tempted! I need to get christmas presents out the way first though before my own gifts ha! Glad you had a great time :) I very much like your checkered scarf!

I love the photo of the shop with all the tree ornaments, it's so pretty & your outfit is great too, fur & tartan always make me feel kinda festive for some reason! :)

  11. Awwyeah, this is too nice. I can't wait for some Christmas market myself (although... the amount of nutcrackers is actually rather frighting indeed)! I'm so in for some glühwein! And I'm glad you had a willing photographer, your outfit looks so winter-y and lovely and awesome.

  15. Can I just say what a relief to find someone who actually knows what theyre talking about on the internet. You definitely know how to bring an issue to light and make it important. More people need to read this and understand this side of the story. I cant believe youre not more popular because you definitely have the gift.
